There was not too many rides that Jackson could ride but he enjoyed watching his sister ride the rides!!

We had a great time at the fair. If you ever go you have to try the fried cookie dough, the fried peanut butter & jelly sandwich, and fried oreos... all which are well worth the calories!!!!

Our trip to NYC and Cooperstown Dreams Park

We were so lucky this past June when the Clifton 12U select baseball team asked Jose to travel with the team to Cooperstown, NY when they play in the August 15th-21st tournament at Cooperstown Dreams Park!!! There was no way that I was going to let Jose go to NY without me so we all packed our bags, booked plane tickets and headed to NY. We decided to go ahead and stay in NYC for a couple of days as well. If we were going to fly into LaGuardia Airport why not!!! We had a awesome time and can't wait until our next trip to NY!!!
Cameron and Jackson watching the airplanes take off and land!!!

Cameron was so excited to ride on the plane. As soon as we took off and was in the air, she fell fast asleep for two hours! (our trip took 3 1/2 hours)

Jackson fell asleep right before we boarded our plane and sleep for the first two hours of the trip! Cameron and Jackson did so well on the plane ride!!!

Our hotel was only 2 blocks from Time Square!!! As soon as our driver dropped us off at the hotel we checked in, dropped our bags off in our room and took off sight seeing. This was down town Time Square on a Wednesday night!

I have always seen pictures of Time Square so when I actually saw it in person I felt like a kid in a candy store!!!

Cameron and Jackson had a great time watching all the people walking by and the lights!!!

The next day we got up and went to the NBC studios to see the taping of the Today Show! We got lucky and Meredith was out talking to the crowd and she spotted Jackson and Cameron started talking to them!!! Gotta use the kids when we can!!!

We also went to the Empire State Building!

The view from top of the Empire State Building. The big rectangle of green you see if Central Park.

Also a view from the top of the Empire State Building over looking the Hudson River, the Financial District, and the Statue of Liberty.

We went up on the 86th floor of the Empire State Building. This is what was left of it when we looked up!

More down town Time Square!!! Got to love the Taxis!

I looked up and I saw two horses with police man on them in Time Square!!!

Inside of Toys R Us on Time Square they had a Ferris Wheel!!!! The Toys R Us store was 3 floors!!! A kids dream. And of course both of the kids were asleep when we went in!!!

In Lego land they had a Statue of Liberty made out of Legos!!! Too Cool!

We had to go to the M&M World to see the wall of any color of M&M that you could ever want! It was so dreamy!!! We love M&Ms in our house!!!!

The famous Broadway sign!!!

We went on a carriage ride through Central Park!!!

The entrance of Central Park!

Trump International Hotel and Tower!!!

We see Tavern on The Green in Central Park!!

Once Cameron woke up we told her about the Toys R Us store and she had to go back to see it for herself.
And of course we had to ride the Ferris Wheel!!! Cameron had a blast!!

We visited the famous Trump Towers!!! So cool because I used to watch The Apprentice back in the day!!

Friday morning, Flo Rida performed on the Today Show Summer Concert Series!!!

Friday at noon we picked up our rental car and head to Cooperstown for week. On our way out of the the city we got to see the old Yankee Stadium! The new stadium was right beside the old one but my camera shooting was too slow to get!!!

Cameron and Jackson at Cooperstown Dreams Park on Saturday!

The Clifton Cubs select baseball team in opening ceremony.

Jose dressed in his umping attire. For those who do not know Jose has been umping the little league games in Clifton for the past two years!!! He really enjoys be around the kids!!!

Saturday night after the opening ceremoney, they had a skills competition. Jose got to help with the King of Swat! (aka Homerun derby) The winner of King of Swat hit 8 out of 10 homeruns!!!

Our future Cooperstown Dreams Park players. (Believe it or not there was a girl who played on a California team. She started at second base and hit 6 home runs thoughout out the tournament. Her team ended up winning the tournament. And according to some of the 12 year old boys she was pretty hot!!!!) Cameron and Jackson ready for a long day of baseball!!!

After a long day of umping 4 games Jose was pretty tired and fell asleep with both kids jumping all over him!!!

I was left to play with the kids until like 11 o'clock while Jose feel asleep at 9pm. (You can see him sleeping in the back ground)

Finally they fell asleep snuggling up to each other!! So cute!!!

Another day of Jose umping. He had 3 games on Sunday, 2 games on Monday and Tuesday, 3 games on Wednesday, and 1 game on Thursday!

Jose in action!!

It ended up being 91 degrees while we were up the usually it is in the mid 80s. I bought the kids little squirt bottles to keep themselves cool and to entertain them. We were so lucky the my dad was able to go with us to help me out with the kids while Jose had to ump!!!

In between games we had time to got the Baseball Hall of Fame.

The four of us with the plaques of first inductees in the Hall of Fame.

Jose umping so more games!!!

He only had a couple of fans yell at him during the tournament.

After the boys would finish their games they would come over to Cameron and Jackson and play with them!!!

On the way back into the city I got a picture of the New Yankee Stadium!! We wish we would of had time to go to a Yankee game while we were in town!

A picture of the city going back to the airport.

Cameron on the plane ride home. She is looking a little rough!!

Jackson loved looking out the window while on the plane. So our 10 day trip went really well and we enjoyed ourselves very much except for the plane ride home. We arrived at the airport and saw that the other flights to DFW was delayed except for ours which was good. We boarded our plane and ended up sitting on the runway for 4 1/s house with 54 planes in front of us and 20+ planes behind us due to the storms that were in Dallas that morning and the hurricane that was coming up the coast in NY!!! Once we did take off we had to stop in Nashville, TN to fill the plane up because we wasted the gas sitting on the runway for so long!!! We ended up land at DFW at 9:30 pmwhen we should of landed at 5:26 pm! The kids did a great job being on the plane so long. T hey took a 3 hour nap while we sit on the runway. Other than that we had a great time in NYC and Cooperstown and can't wait until our next trip up there!!!
