First Steps!

Our little boy took his first steps today!!!  I won't be long before he is walking everywhere!!!!  Look out Cameron when he does!!!!

Our Trip to Sea World and the Zoo

We left for Sea World at 5 am this past Saturday morning. I got at 3 am to take a shower and get everything else together. I was going to just grab the kids out of bed as we were walking at the door, but as you can see they were too excited. They both woke up at 3:45 am that morning ready to go!!! I thought yeah they will both sleep on the way down there. Boy was I wrong. Jackson slept for a two hours and Cameron she slept on 20 minutes!!!

Brock had a great time at Sea World and at the Zoo. It was his first time!!!

Cameron was sad after all her fish were gone. She enjoyed feeding to dolphins. Jackson would point at the dolphins and say "dolphin."

The next day we went to the San Antonio Zoo.

The wagon was a great idea!!! They loved to ride in it!!!

We had a blast at San Antonio this past weekend. Cameron cannot wait to go back and I am sure Jackson is ready too!!!

Our boy can move!

Grandpa's water jug is Jackson new favorite toy.  He figured out this past week how to drink out of a straw.  Now every time he sees the jug, he walks along the couch as fast as he can to it and starts drinking out of it!!!  It's so cute!!!

Jackson has found away to get around. He can walk along furniture and the walls and then he will sit down and scoot on his butt.  He did this the other day and he ended up at Brock's wheel chair. 

He was very much exploring Brock's wheel chair and equipment!!!

Jackson's other new trick is spinning around on his butt!!!  He thinks it is so funny and will sit on the floor and and spin around for a long time and just giggle while he does it!!!  Yes that is Cameron in the background in a sports bra at dance class.

Absolutely nothing wrong with any of it and I hate to sale it because I love but we are wanting to buy a king bed for our new bedroom. It is made out of solid oak and is very well built. Contact us if you know anybody interested in a bedroom suit!!!!

So aunt Mindy and uncle Jeromy, and cousin Bailey, Brock, and Madison went to Dallas this past Friday and brought back a surprise for Cameron. Her first American Girl Doll!!! Cameron was so excited!!! She has not put the doll down and takes her everywhere with us!!! She also named her Emily. The middle name changes from minute to minute though!!!

Also this week, Mama painted her finger nails and toe nails for the first time! She loves it!! She did not want to take a shower the next morning because she was afraid the polish would wash off in the shower!!!

What a cute moment this was! The other morning while I was running on my Q45 my mom yells at me to grab the camera. I walk in the living room and find my two little pumpkins sitting in the rocking chair watching The Wizard Of Oz!!! It was a Kodak moment for sure! They both love watching The Wizard Of Oz these days. Jackson loves it when Dorothy sings Somewhere Over the Rainbow!!! He tries to sing along with her!!!

The other night Jackson and Cameron were playing. Cameron had Jackson laughing so hard he would have to stop to catch his breath!!! It was so funny!!!

Jackson's 9 month check up

We had Jackson's 9 month doctors appointment today and he weighs in at 24 pounds 5 ounces and is 28 inches long!!!  He did not get any shots but he did had to get his blood drawn to see if there were any sings of anemia.  He did not cry at all when the nurse stuck his finger or squeezed his finger to get the blood out.  He was not anemic  so the doctor gave us the OK to start him on whole milk.  So the time has come for me to stop breast feeding!!  I took my last donation of milk to the hospital yesterday!!  Over the past nine months I have donated 7,124 ounces of milk plus feed my little boy!!!  Yes I know, I produce like a jersey!!!

I can't believe our little boy is nine months old already.  For his 9 month pictures he is standing in his daddy's shoes and playing with his daddy's work shirt. What a cute butt shot!!! We go to his 9 month old doctors appointment next Wednesday so we will get an update on how much he has grown.  And I am sure there will be SHOTS involved too!  

So what has Mr. Jackson been up to lately?  Let me tell you:

* He has figured out how to get on all fours from a sitting position.  

*He pushes backwards when he is on all fours. (then just falls to his belly.)

*He got his third tooth.  Top left.

*He says mama all the time, Hi, bye-bye, and he looks as his daddy and says "Jose".

*He tries to repeat everything we say.

*He likes to play peak-a-boo with a blanket.

*He pulls up on everything.

*He is walking along furniture and everything else he can get a hold of.

*He has figured out how to feed himself puffs.  (and giggles every time he gets one in his mouth)

*He is trying to point at things (like to ceiling fan, tv, etc...)

*He loves to sing (He tries to sing along with the Wiggles, The Wizard of Oz, and with Cameron)  So cute!!!!

I can not believe that in 3 months our little big boy is going to a year old!!!
