Busy end of July!

we took the kids to Radajazz in Austin. They had a blast! ( Cameron is in the black shirt jumping on top of the girl!)

This is Mr. Jackson holding his head up!

Mr. Hot Stuff looks good in yellow!

It is hard getting both of still for a good picture these days!

This Cameron's 2nd birthday outfit! She loves the tutu that I made for her!!!

They both really enjoy playing on the activity gym!!!

So Monday morning, Jackson was still running a 102 fever so we decided to take him to his Dr. because we were not convinced that it was just an "ear infection." So his Dr. order the standard blood test and chest x-rays that has to be done on infants that come into the office that have a fever and are under two months. He also checked hid ear and not to my surprise there was no ear infection! The labs came back showing that his white blood count was higher than normal. So seven week old Jackson got admitted to Hillcrest Hospital on Monday afternoon so they could monitor him for 72 hours to make sure that he did not have any type of blood poison or any other type of bacteria infection. Jackson was a trooper! He ended up having his blood drawn 6 times and three IVs started in him because they kept coming out. One in his hand and on in each foot. One night it took the nurses five tries to finally get his second IV started! So we waited around for three days for the lab results while Jackson was already receiving medicine just in case there was some type of infection. His fever finally broke early Thursday morning and the final lab results came back normal so we got to go home!!! The Dr. said that it was a viral infection which had to run its course but being that he his under two month, they had to make sure that it was not something more serious. We are very thankful that it was nothing more than a viral infection. We would have had to stay there another two weeks if there was. So anyways, we are home and he is doing well. Our 13 lbs. 3 oz. butter ball is doing great! Eating, pooping, an sleeping like usual!!! (He gained a pound and 3 oz while staying in the hospital. He is such a little pig.)

They gave him a hospital gown. Usually a child his age gets one of the little white shirts but not our chunky monkey. He was way too chubby for one of those!

This was a picture of his first IV.

Cameron and Jackson napping at the Hospital!

This is his second IV and the third IV was in the other foot! Poor little guy. The nurses must of thought he was a pin cushion.

Cameron playing in Jackson's gown. She was very well behaved the whole time. She woke up Thursday morning and said, "I wanna go home."

A Fun Afternoon!

After a long day of shopping for a new recliner and bedding we ended the day at the ER with Jackson. He came down with a 101.4 fever and became very fussy. So we rushed him to the ER and the poor little fella has his first ear infection at 6 1/2 weeks old!!! He seems kinda young for an ear infection already. And we also found out that our little guy is not so little any more. He is already 12 POUNDS!!! Yes, I said 12 pounds the size of a small 4 month old! He has gained 4 pounds in 6 weeks!! But I should not be so surprised though the little piggy does like to eat every two hours on most days! I will try to post some new pictures of him and Cameron soon!!! Oh yeah, we have also started to add-on a new master bedroom and bath this past week!! So our little two bedroom house is becoming a three bedroom house! Very exciting (I get to shop at Pottery Barn) but more to clean (yuck)!

Happy 1 Month Buddy!

This is Jackson's 1 month picture! Mindy and I went in together and bought a couple of backdrops to take pictures on. So on Jackson's 1 month birthday, we had a photo session at Mindy's house!! Thank you Mindy for taking such beautiful pictures for us!!! This past month has really gone by fast!!! Jackson is such a good baby. He only cries when he is hungry (which is every two hours on most days) or when he wants to be held sleeping!! He can hold his head up by himself already and is starting to really focuses on things around him!!! He loves looking at pictures on the walls!!! Cameron was the same way at his age! We think he is close to 11 lbs but will find out for sure when he goes back for his 2 month check up.

Mindy also took some adorable pictures of Cameron. She had to be fast though, cause Cameron would only sit still for a couple of seconds and then she was off running around. She has so much energy!!! We are in trouble if Jackson has half as much energy as Cameron!!!

Our first family pictures (well that we all are dressed up in at least!)

Mommy and Daddy's little monkeys!!!

Somebody is always looking another direction!

As you can tell Cameron never sits still!

This is just one of the millions of kisses that Cameron gives Jackson each day!

Daddy is so proud of his little ones!!

They are two of a kind!!

She loves to hug on her Daddy!

I can't remember the last time just the two of us took pictures!!
My two little sweet hearts!

My little Buddy (we tried to call him Bubba but that is what everyone calls Brock and Cameron will correct you if you call Jackson Bubba because that is Brock's name. She says "No, that is Jackson Zayne Ritz or Buddy. Bubba is at Mindy's house."

Mommy's little sweet angle (well, on most days is she a sweet angle)

What cute little feet!

Cameron loves to hold Jackson's hand!!!

I love this picture! Grammy with Jackson and Cameron sitting outside one morning!

What a fun June it has been!

Cameron is going to be 22 months on Sunday. She has grown up way too fast especially since Jackson has gotten here! She has become a great big sister and a very big help. She can't help enough sometimes. We are still in the potty training stage. She is doing great with it but still has accidents every once in awhile. She has a very big vocabulary for her age. Sometimes we can't tell if we are talking to Cameron or Bailey. She talks in sentences for the most part and loves to sing all kinds of songs!!!! She sings herself to sleep at night! And today she counted to 10!!!! We are still working on colors and the ABCs. She knows the colors blue and pink and red for the most part. I can't believe my baby is already this big.

Hey everyone, I am a wake! So these days pretty much all Jackson does is eat every two hours ( a killer at night), poop, and sleep. He is a very good sleeper (and eater) especially when we are out side. The heat just puts him to sleep. He hates cool air. He now weighs 8 lbs 14 oz. And is starting to stay awake more during the day and is noticing things! He responds very well when Cameron talks to him!!! He loves his big sister!

Bailey went to Cheer camp a couple of weeks ago and Cameron thought she had to go and watch. She loved it and got up set when she could not go out there and cheer with the other girls. This is her cheer suit (use to be Baileys). We ordered her some pom-poms and she can't wait to get them. She makes all of us, Jose, me, Grammy, Mindy and who ever else is around to cheers with her. Her favorite is the Clifton Rumble cheer! I will have to try and get it on video and post it later.
Jackson must of had a hard day. It is hard having to sleep so much!

Grandpa and two of grandkids.

Cameron is already playing dress up with him!!!

Daddy with his two little monkeys!

This is Cameron's smile these days!!! It cracks me up! She can not get enough of holding him.

This is Zachary, one of Jackson's and Cameron's second cousins. They love playing with Zachary.

Cameron and Bailey putting a puzzle together at Grammy's house. But probably more like Cameron stealing the pieces from Bailey!!!

Cameron feeding Jackson a bottle.

This is video of Jackson rolling over from his tummy to his back. He was 15 days old when he did it. Cameron was 13 days old when she rolled over from her tummy to her back!!!
